6.27.09 - Last June Wedding
Hi everyone. Another great night here at Winterthur. Tonight we spent the evening with Val and Ty who knew they wanted to get married here because the mother of the bride is a treasured Winterthur employee and they love it here - like we all do!
Val and Ty had a few things you should see - they used the Rolls Royce Winterthur owns for pictures, they used our very own Winterthur Floral Department for all of their flowers, and they took advantage of the option of having their names up on the flatscreens as well. No weddings on the 4th of July so we will all be watching fireworks next weekend. After that we have 2 a week so keep looking back to get some great ideas for your wedding!
Nicole, Rachel and R.A. staff, Thank you for an amazing, magical evening. Val and Ty had the time of their lives. Many of our guests commented on the professional, polite and friendly demeanor of your staff. Everything was taken care of with skill, finesse and nearly invisible, unobtrusive service. One other thing to perspective brides and grooms….the photos posted here are great, but they don’t have the richness of color that you feel when you’re in the spaces. Great for ideas, but keep in mind that the spaces look much, much better in person. I was amazed at the transformation of the visitor center space when we walked into my daughter’s reception. It was spectacular! One of my favorite things was to look up into the skylights while I was dancing with my husband and seeing the grand trees illuminated above us. Magical!
